Kek

Family Formicidae

Kek encompasses two subspecies, the Shiree'Kek and the Kek'Shiree, the former having given rise to the latter. They are a social, arthropoid Species descended from of the Dinoponera―giant Amazonian ants. In the aftermath of Brum in the Third Generation, the Shiree'Kek rapidly developed and eventually conquered all of South America in their warlike early generations during Metabola. As their species matured and thoughts turned inward, the Shiree'Kek evolved into a fiercely peace-devoted people prizing logic and analysis above all else.

Near the close of Gaia's Fourth Generation, an entire generation of Kek'Shiree is born.

Blast from the Past

The Kek'Shiree are a "throwback" to a physical form from the genetic history of the Shiree'Kek more suited to war with a mentality to match. An entire generation is born near the close of the Fourth Generation. The cause is unknown, but unrest soon follows as the warriors reach maturity.
